This polymer 40 round magazine for AK-47 and AKM is made with high-strength fiber-reinforced polyamide. It incorporates steel reinforcements in the lips for long-term stable operation.
It has a non-diving follower and constant curve internal geometry. A steel reinforced magazine latching lug is optional. It also has steel at the magazine catch locking lug. This version passes all military requirements.
It reproduces the function of the classic 40-round steel magazine in a form that prevents any loss of function from dents or corrosion of the magazine.
Originally issued with the RPK light machinegun, the 40-round magazine will allow higher capacity for standard AK rifles.
